Additional Information:

When and why did you start fighting? I trained inconsistently for about a year and then I went to Thailand in January of 2009. That changed how I viewed muay thai and fighting. It was a constant, everyday activity there. When I came back I was pumped and wanted to get in the ring ASAP! But after a series of cancellations and pull outs, I got fed up. Then I went down to the WKA North Americans in Virginia with no fights and took the gold medal home!

What are your future fight career goals? Getting ready for the WKA Worlds in November! After that who knows?

Is there anything compelling that would like to mention about female fighters? I watch lots of fights online all the time but I am not as inspired or as motivated when I watch female fighters train/fight. They put a bit of their soul into their fighting and it moves me.

Who are your role models (if any)? Germaine de Randamie, Julie Kitchen

How often do you train? I train 6 days a week for a fight, some days twice.

What do you do aside from training/fighting? volunteer, work and read ALOT

What would you say to those who aspire? Please, please, please don't think you can't do it and that the women you see in the ring are somehow tougher than you. Every woman is tough and strong. You all have that potential to get in the ring and make it happen.
